Specializing in permitting & permit maintenance that complies with ODNR, OEPA and Corps of Engineers regulations. The close proximity of P & L Systems to ODNR’s central office expedites permit reviews and approvals. The company’s professional staff has vast experience in designing & permitting surface coal and industrial mineral mines, associated facilities and highwall mining.

The staff is adept at tracking bond, and organizing and preparing bond releases. Our strong engineering and surveying background assists the mining industry in many ways. Services include: on-site construction, staking and design inspection; drainage control designs including reconstructed stream channels, culvert sizing and sediment impoundments; hollow fill design and soil stabilization; stockpile inventory; topographic mapping and property line retrenchment. By employing geographic information systems (G.I.S) technology, coal reserve and seam thickness maps, color mine maps and design plans can be developed and reproduced with the utmost efficiency.
